Who we are

Haus of Ak'ei Ltd runs hoa.ventures and is responsible for the information collected through it. You can contact us about this notice at tom@projectakei.com.

What we collect and why

Enquiries. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, organisation (if you give it), the topic and your message. We use these only to reply to you and follow up on your enquiry. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
Your approximate location. When you visit, our host, Cloudflare, estimates your approximate location (around city level) from your internet connection. We show the rounded coordinates back to you on the page. We do not store them, log them or use them for anything else.
Technical information. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic details of your request to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Cookies

This site does not use cookies for analytics or advertising. Our host may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the site from automated traffic.

Who we share it with

We use two service providers, who act on our instructions: Cloudflare, which hosts the site, and Formspree, which delivers contact form messages to our inbox. Where they process information outside the UK, they do so under safeguards recognised by UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 12 months after our last contact with you. If an enquiry leads to an ongoing relationship, such as an investment, we keep what we need for as long as that relationship lasts and as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop using it. Email tom@projectakei.com and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
